Independents for Mornington Peninsula endorses Tracee Hutchison for Nepean

Nepean byelection: Former triple j broadcaster Tracee Hutchison to run as independent

Following a robust and considered selection process that began with Indies for MP community workshops back in November, we are thrilled to endorse Tracee Hutchison as the Independents for Mornington Peninsula endorsed candidate for the Nepean by-election!

Born at Rosebud Hospital, Tracee exemplifies community leadership. With an extensive career in broadcasting and journalism from international outlets through to our very own local radio station, Tracee ensures community voices are heard in public spaces and actively models participating in the decisions that affect our daily lives in Nepean. She is deeply embedded in our local community through her work across social support services, the creative industry, the environment sector and as a citizen who proactively brings people together to address emergent issues. When the Council voted to make significant cuts to community funding last year, Tracee was a prominent leader in organising the affected communities and holding decision makers accountable.

There will be lots of opportunities to get involved with Tracee’s campaign. Click here for more information: Tracee Hutchison for Nepean

We hope you’re as pleased as we are, to have the great honour of endorsing Tracee Hutchison, a true advocate for our community. Local. Honest. Independent.
